TECHNOLOGY
For the manufacture of glass stones pressing rods are used. First of all, a blank piece produced in Kopal's squeezer is cleared from sharp edges in a dry tumble. Afterwards, a final lustre and exact dimensions are achieved by classic tumbling in barrels filled with glass sand and water.
Further surface refinement is ensured by prominent suppliers who guarantee high quality of upper and lower coatings, imitation pearls and lustre.
Use
Final customers use glass tumbled stones mainly:
- for the costume jewellery production or the production of crystal figures
- in the field of cosmetics - as a nail decoration or for the production of perfume flacons
- for the production of fashion complements on handbags, belts or shoes
- in window panes
- in shades
- in gel candles
- for Christmas decorations etc.
